How much weight are you looking at for the “saggy” point?
If you don’t want to drill a through bolt mid platform, can you get away with a hook mounted via VHB tape or some other higher weight adhesive?

Awesome build and travel thread! How is the WolfBox G900 Pro rear camera at night? I saw a few Amazon reviews criticizing this. Also, what’s the step stool that you use, with yellow stripes? Thanks
I mean it can only be so bright with no light in the rear but it’s clearer then my reverse camera on the tacoma i’ll say that.
While driving I haven’t really noticed the rear cameras downfall at night. I have the WDR upgraded camera.
This is the stool that I have. I like it so far and fairly compact.
Thanks, very helpful
I’ll try to remember next time i’m night driving to show you how the rear cam looks at night.
Even just letting you know Wolfbox came out with a triple camera one lol now you can have front camera on the grille too!
Interesting, I guess helps if you don’t have a factory front grill cam.
I’m gonna pick one of these up as soon as they come out and also update my GFC Wolfbox mount to match. I have wanted an under-truck or even in-GFC camera for a while. I can think of a lot of uses for a third camera. Even double backup (one looking left and one right for super wide coverage) would be pretty cool.
That would be cool overlapping sectors for the rear cam.
yeap
or you don’t have a spotter or front parking sensors lol
i use my front parking sensors to gauge distance but other obstacles… Im screwed
oh yeah hahaha
when the new Defender came out with the see through hood camera i was drooling, but then i completely forgot about it.
the shop crawler we’re building we put 2 cameras under the truck, one facing the front and one facing the back. should be really interesting to see how the axles and the frame go through rocks.
Thank you! Appreciate the follow up. Looks pretty good.
