Has anyone mounted a lockable option to the side tracks of the GFC for a shovel?

I’ve been running the SeaSucker mounts with a Bolt cable lock. I can move it any place I like.

I mounted two builtright molle panels to the side panel and then use quick grips. i park the truck in the city and the shovels have never been stolen (the axe I leave inside). locks probably not necessary if you buy cheap shovels. expensive “overlanding” shovels def not necessary.

Like most of the things on my rig, I did a hasty cheap “good enough” solution for a trip and ran it until it broke/ failed, but it was so simple and useful I never “upgraded”

You probably won’t see it at any showcase rigs but I used it with great success:

Pipe Hanger

Whole thing would cost you less than 10 bucks, 20 if you wanna be fancy and pay for the OEM t nuts

If you get a non threaded one you can use a padlock if you wish.
Using the screw adds a lite tool requirement to unmounting, so is slightly more secure than the regular quick fists

You could easily plasti-dip if you wanted to really make it look sharp.

Probably could be cut with a hacksaw/ bolt cutter/ angle grinder, but for the opportunistic thief, it never failed me
