After nearly 10 years of ownership, it’s finally time to pass my Tacoma on to its next owner. I recently purchased a new truck so I unfortunately don’t have room for both.
This has been my long-term passion project and is probably one of the most thoroughly documented 3rd Gen Tacomas you’ll find. It has been built over nearly a decade with reliability, capability, and long-distance adventure in mind not just appearance. Moving on to a new project is definitely bittersweet

Ownership History
I purchased this Tacoma brand new from Toyota in December 2016 in Merritt Island, Florida and have been the only owner since new. The truck relocated with me to Hermosa Beach, California in March 2018.
This truck has been my passion project for nearly a decade. Rather than building it all at once, every modification was carefully selected, installed, tested, and refined over years of ownership with an emphasis on reliability, capability, and long-term drivability. This truck was never assembled simply to look good or be sold. Every major system including the suspension, drivetrain, electrical, camper setup, lighting, storage, and interior was designed to work together as one cohesive package.
The truck has been featured at the LA Auto Show, Overland Expo SoCal, and on the cover and centerfold of a Toyota owner’s magazine. It has also appeared in numerous videos, social media features, and brand collaborations throughout its build. The result is a fully sorted, turnkey truck that can comfortably serve as a daily driver while also being ready for long-distance overland travel tomorrow. I’m only selling since I purchased a new truck and don’t have the space for two.

Cosmetic Disclosure
I believe in being completely transparent so every known cosmetic imperfection is disclosed.
- The truck has normal trail pinstriping and light paint scratches consistent with an adventure vehicle that has been used off-road.
- The passenger front fender was replaced with a new OEM Toyota fender after an earlier snorkel removal. It is the correct factory color but is not a perfect color match in every lighting condition.
- The hood scoop has minor clear coat fading.
- There is one small dent approximately the size of a quarter on the rear passenger-side cab corner.
- The current wheel spacer and wheel setup causes slight rubbing on the firewall at full steering lock. This could be reduced or eliminated by adjusting spacer thickness, wheel offset, alignment settings, or additional firewall clearancing.
Accident History
- In November 2018, the truck was lightly rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light at less than 10 mph.
- The only components replaced was the factory tow receiver and one bumper cap.
- This occurred before the aftermarket rear bumper was installed.
- There was no frame damage, suspension damage, or mechanical damage, and the incident is reported on the CarFax as ‘very minor damage’.
- Service paperwork from the insurance payout is included in the maintenance records.
