My V2 Max was installed in November and I’m still waiting on my solar panel….anyone else in the same position?
Not sure if this helps, but on 22 Jan 2026, GFC emailed me regarding my solar panel order for my MAX:
“…We’re expecting the solar panels to arrive soon, and once they do, they’ll be released into production…”
I’d shoot support@gofastcampers.com an email for clarification on your situation.

Quick update on the solar panel kit — the panels have arrived, and we’re currently finalizing the wiring harnesses, remaining kit components, and install guide to ensure everything is complete before shipping.
We don’t have a firm ship date just yet, but it’s actively in progress. Once the kits are ready, we’ll send a full communication with next steps, confirm your shipping address, and get yours headed your way.

Hey John! Quick question…
I ordered my Max last weekend and opted out of the solar panel because I saw that the solar panels would be mailed and not installed on the GFC at the time of pickup. Another member said that their solar would be installed at GFC. What would it look like for a Max being picked up in Aug? Will y’all be installing the solar panels at that point, and can we add that as an option? I will be picking up the GFC and heading out for a month or so before i’d even get home, but I would love to be able to have the solar on there when i’d pick up the camper.
Thanks John. I live in the area - will there be an option to swing by the shop to have it installed? Have a trip first week in April and am hoping to have everything ready to go.
did your max came with the rear grab handles? mine only came with side ones
I think it only comes with one set. You can move them anywhere along the outside rail.
According to the “V2 MAX Walkaround (In-Depth Tour!)” video, there should be 2 handles on the rear door near the seal, one on the inside, and one on the outside.
