A sad story but this Honda Ridgeline V2 camper was damaged in a collision but may be of use to someone.
The RRT portion has abrasions and damage to the sealing tape but otherwise opens and closes as it did before the collision. The tent fabric is undamaged as are the interior floor panels. Tent has double side doors.
The space frame has at least one bent bottom tube and the mount points are torn out. The other tubes may have bends but visually look straight. The side doors have multiple tweaks and the rear door is curled up.
I have the upper and lower bed mounts and I think they can be used after replacing the track nuts.It had front and rear windows, the front is still in place and I have the rear window, it didn’t break.
The camper had only been used about 6 times before the accident and was the first production camper for the Ridgeline. It has been stored in a carport since March this year.
The camper is located in Shelton Washington. If someone wants it they will need to pick it up as is, I don’t want to part it out. It’s attached to a hoist should be easy to transfer to a trailer or possibly strapped to a truck.
I can send more pictures and info. Maybe this would be a starting point for someone building a custom platform camper. It would be sad to see it go to the metal recycler.
