Southern California GFC Owners

im in rosemead but i don’t have pro lol

the few GFCs i’ve seen around the 626 areas are all V2 non-pros.Basil’s probably your best bet, or hit up CJC in Orange see if they have a Pro on their shop truck. I don’t remember if they have the Pro or the Max on theirs.

Thanks for that information. I’ll check into that shop in Orange county. Thanks!

you welcome.

just know they may be like “wtf you talking about” because they are mostly a suspension shop for Ford and Ram, not a full on overland type of shop. they just have GFC on their shop builds/ shop owner builds.

I’m not far, off the 210/605 area. Not a Pro, only a V2 but have the Pro tent upgrade. Let me know. I’d enjoy showing off my build.

who did the upgrade for you?

i’ve been thinking about it.

It was at Basil’s but they also did a roof replacement at the same time. That was what actually pushed me to upgrade to the Pro tent, plus GFC sent me one when they were showing sold out/back ordered last summer.

Basil’s did mine too

im considering having Basil do mine (they quoted me $650 for labor) vs going to HQ to do it for much less labor cost and gives me a chance to redo Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton lol

For new camper install? Or are we talking about the tent upgrade?

tent upgrade

That sounds about right. I paid about $100 more but that included a new roof replacement/install.

yeah HQ charges $250 for install for the tent… that’s $400 I could use for gas to make a trip to MT lol

The alternative is to DIY if you have a free weekend.

i dont trust myself to have the patience and working on ladders for a long period of time lol

i’ve fell off ladders plenty of times
