Would a 2nd or 3rd Gen Tacoma GFC fit on a 1st Gen Tacoma? If so, would it be water tight?
What is the actual difference in bed sizes between Gens?
For V1 yes. All that matters is long or short bed. For V2 No.

Technically the V1 camper will fit between generations. The V2 is specifically 3D scanned to match the cab rack, bed rail width, etc. this means it will likely not transfer between generations and if it does it will not fit quite as well. Water tight is also somewhat of an ambiguous term. You can seal anything up one way or another but with the V1 camper you should be able to lay the seal down and just bolt it up!
