Tacoma 3G install - drilling required?

I’ve leased a 3rd Generation Tacoma so I don’t want to make any permanent changes to the bed. Can anyone tell me if a GFC install requires modifications or does it reuse the factory rail?

It reuses the factory rails for install. Can’t speak to installing on a lease, I’m sure others have done it.

For the 3rd brake light, most drill/make a small hole to the run the wire.

Without proper sealing of the tacoma bed also, it’s gonna leak like a SOB. Not GFCs fault, purely the tacoma.
