Tail Light Wiring for Platform Camper V2 on 2nd Gen Tacoma

Here is an installation guide we wrote for tapping the brake lights, turn signal lights and reverse lights on the 2nd Gen Tacoma. If anyone wants to run secondary brake, reverse, and turns… this is the way.

Notice the KC Amber Cyclone turn signals mounted to the GFC billet caps on the space frame? I removed the caps and drilled a new 5/8" hole about 1/2" away from the factory GFC hole (mount point). Then I inserted a 5/8" rivet nut for the KC Cyclones to bolt into. I ran the wiring with a braided sleeve along the D pillar of the space frame. They are held in place with the Hellermanntyton flex zip tie mounts.

The factory brake light, GFC brake light, and the KC Cyclone bumper brake light are wired in series.
