no not a nissan and the only things broken so far are aftermarket tweaks. let me know when you get more than 20 MPG and some power
Nope not on a Nissan Xterra now may be a Titan. I had a Xterra and put 400,000 miles on it with just general maintenance crap. Ford on the other hand that’s a whole other conversation!
Oh my Tacoma i’m averaging between 18 MPG with my GFC going up and down mountains, but I am tuned so that makes a big difference.
it doesn’t matter how many miles you can get on a car here. after 10 years every make rusts to the point it’s junk. some coughjapanese brandscough are worse than others. struggle bussing up hills huh? wanna race? drove the peak to peak highway and other roads up there. what a blast when you have power. I couldn’t imagine struggling in a tacoma. I say drive what you want. everything has pros and cons. just don’t get mad at a sticker on somebody else’s truck passing you by uphill
Uh, this is pretty silly…
I have a Tacoma. It’s fine. It doesn’t get 20 mpg. It shifts like it’s wonky on cocaine. People think I’m a taco bro. I am not.
I considered a RAM and a JEEP. I decided to go with a less capable OEM vehicle because of price; I got a great deal on my Tacoma. Honestly, I bought my GFC before my truck. I decided that since the GFC was designed around the Tacoma, I probably should get a Tacoma to put my GFC on. That’s my 2 cents on this issue.
This is a GFC photo thread. Can we get back to those, please? I kinda like the photos…
Peace.
Maybe you misunderstood me. I wasn’t hating on Ford’s or the sticker. Just saying with all my travels back-and-forth across the country over the last 30 years I’ve only seen those stickers on Ford’s. The Xterra I had was a 2005 and the engine took a shit in me two years ago
Honestly man, its your truck, its your adventure… just ignore those that think the vehicle you drive makes you superior/inferior. If you’re having fun, that’s all that matters.
(sorry, i don’t have GFC yet so no pictures… i’m here to be inspired.)
Morning meditation…
Enjoying one of the many great views in western Colorado. Camping a few miles from home above Wolcott, CO.

Loving the gofast life !
Where did you get the ladder mounting hardware? I’ve looked everywhere and found the pieces you have on the side of the tent but cannot find the ladder hooks at the top of your ladder.
They are from Shittco, find him on Insta.
