The Random GFC Photo Thread

I got the chance to photograph the Equinox Marathon today and the GFC came in handy to get some high and wide shots of the race coming up the hill

Cool photo. I like that tailgate bag. Do you have info or a link?

Peace.

RhinoUSA trash bag. Bought on Amazon for $30 it’s technically a spare tire bag but it latches over the tailgate easily enough

Nice. I like your innovation. I’ll look at those.

Peace.

Timothy lake? Were you at @dfinn ? I’m in Finland for two weeks, it’s too bad we could line up a rally.

Phinetta lake, to the south of there. Just finished up a few days at a whitewater festival up in Likely (awesome rivers up that way!) and am slowly making my way towards Nelson.

Paddlefest!!! I know all about Likely. I’m trying to start a ski touring operation out that way. I spend most of my free time exploring the Goose range there. Mt. Brew, Mt Stevenson, Welcome Mountain and Three ladies. That’s so awesome. Have a safe drive down. Ladies Creek is one of my favourites in Likely out on Cariboo Lake.

these are awesome! I considered getting out of bed to take photos last night, gravity and a warm sleeping bag won tho!

I’ve made my goal to sleep in every single National Forest. Unfortunately, hard to find cool NF stickers so I’ve found a guy on Etsy who makes some. Nearly 10% there!

Do you have a link to his Etsy store?

Here you go. They are pretty good quality. I’ll see how they hold up to sun/condensation over time but they feel/look good

First time seeing a SP in person, even though I live just over the river from them. I like that they have the dedicated pass through space built in, but otherwise I prefer GFC. Sweet F-150 overall

Sub freezing in September was the final straw. I ordered a heater :joy: it was too cold to get out of the sleeping bags to get a proper aurora photo so I stuck my hand out and then promptly bundled back up.
