soggy mornin down by the river
Sub freezing in September was the final straw. I ordered a heater it was too cold to get out of the sleeping bags to get a proper aurora photo so I stuck my hand out and then promptly bundled back up.
Interesting, you sleep with your head in the front side? Do you ever hit your head in the morning or during the night?
Used mine last night. 35 at night and slept in shorts and a T shirt in the tent lol. Actually got hot and had to pop open a window.
I’m still experimenting with sleeping direction. I don’t hit my head but I got a little claustrophobic and switched in the middle of the night lol.
I orient whichever way is more uphill. I’ve probably ended up 50/50 on direction and no strong preference for either way.
The slope angle of the roof allows me to sit-up without hitting my head. I think its a little easier to hop up and down without having to spin around to get to the back floor panel hole.
An absolute banger of a camp meal
How do you get your stars to show up like that? Are you using a real camera or your phone?
I’m more of a musician than I am a visual artist, but I love nice pictures
Long exposure on the camera. Basically the shutter/shade is staying open for 20+ seconds to allow a bunch of light in.
Checked out the Pipestone Campsites for our GFC Fall Meetup, and shot a bit of content today. Snagged a couple photos of my bumper’s best angle on the way out. Might fix that soon.
