Toyota Tacoma water dripping into the backseat when the side door is open

Toyota Tacoma water dripping into the backseat when the side door is open. I am looking for ideas about how to create an eave at the hinge of a GFC camper to avoid water dripping from the camper onto the backseat when I open the back door of my Tacoma. It pours off the camper into the backseat. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Works perfectly. No more drips. Lots of other cool accessories on the site too.

Peace.

Thanks!

+1 for the DripRails. First mod I did to my GFC the day I got it.

FYI… the DripRails might work OK when the truck is level, but if the vehicle is slightly leaning (such as when parked along a curb with wheels in storm gutter), the water will wrap around the DripRails and end up dripping off their corner and onto your seat

You guys should try living somewhere that gets almost no rain

Hey @MapCompass when did you purchase? Do yours have the lip on the bottom inside that drops down? I have made some revisions over the years to help mitigate this. Shoot me an email if you would at josh@jedf.us and I can look into it.

I have this issue as well since mine are the older design. However, they do still mitigate a lot of the dripping and totally worth it!

Welcome to GFC…where customers provide solutions and components after being ignored by “customer service”.

I agree with GFC706

They work great on my RAM 1500.
