I’m driving a tv up to Hurricane this week and will likely be doing an overnight at Toquerville Falls with my dog before I head back home
I lived in Cottonwood Heights if that helps with street cred

I might be down to link up at Toquerville Falls. Amazing spot and you may have the whole place to yourself this time of year mid-week. What day were you thinking?

I’m anticipating hitting the trailhead around 1PM tomorrow.
I have some work stuff I’ll have to Zoom in for in the afternoon/evening so I may be a pretty boring campmate for a few hours

I was just checking out your Rivian build page. Have you been to Toquerville Falls before? It’s a bit of a rough trail in some sections. Jagged rock in some spots with some decent washout sections. Just want to make sure you know what you’re getting into.

I actually off-road with my truck.
Not sure if you are aware but one of the tricks of the Rivian is th air suspension.
When I go to off road or rock crawl mode I get 15 inches of ground clearance
For basic around town tasks and long highway stretches I usually have it in lowered suspension for better aero/ efficiency.
It has yet to fail me in rocks, sand, snow, or mud.
Beyond that though, I gotta scrap my camping plan for tomorrow.
I had some work stuff change and won’t be able to stay in UT, so my delivery trip is now a suicide run.

I will actually be coming through UT again in mid January and would love to do a trip if schedules allow

Right on! Just making sure you didn’t get into something you didn’t plan for. Good to know about the Rivian. I also have a Yukon AT4 with a similar setup airbag setup. Safe travels!

What date are you planning for? Was looking at heading there for some fair weather camping this time of year about Dec 20-22.
Yeah I did it once in … 2014 (damn where is time going) on my KLR and then once last year in my TJ and man, that increase in traffic has changed the trail so much!

Any Epic Pass holders? I usually have weekdays off if anyone wants to meet up and ski Park City (assuming they get some better snow).
