I can’t seem to find it on the site anywhere. Does any one know what brand/ model solar panel is used by GFC on the v2 max? Also which gland they are using for the cable entry?
If I recall correctly, an inhouse GFC gland was being developed or already in use.
I think the latest version solar panel mounts are generic as to the earlier solar panel mount models being recommended to be used with a specific Renogy panel.
Looks like the connector itself is it a 4 pin Deutsche (DT) connector with some loose pigtails on either side to wire in the basic 12v +/-
Not sure the panel they are using, just that it is CIGS, so could be Renege, BougeRV, etc.
But, the standard for residential connections is MC4 connector, and depending on how portable they tend to intend the panels, or if they want you to plug into their portable power bank (like bluetti or eco flow) some manufacturers have started using the XT plugs (XT30/XT60/XT90)
It would be very easy to get a simple MC4 or XT pigtail if you want to keep your stock solar wiring uncut
It’s likely the BougeRv one - I ran the 100w in the past and they were extremely efficient. I’d run them again.
@gaincGFC Thanks for the replies. I don’t think it’s the Rouge RV one since its a type N panel and GFC says its a CIGS and its 31/5 wide so 2 wont fit between the 59 inch beef bar distance. I don’t see a CIGS that is offered from RougeRV. In any case I was really trying to figure out the measurements and if I could fit 2 side by side on a GFC V2 PRO so I ended up ordering the Renogy 200W flexible panel as the claimed measurement should give me 1/2 and inch to spare between the beef bars with 2 side by side.
Maybe a renogy panel then since that’s where the battery pack comes from I think.
