Maybe it’s just me but for the price you pay for this bedding catch it’s kinda saggy and the bungees on the underside don’t stay centered.
So the plan is to do a grommet in the middle and put a loop there to keep the bungees on the bottom centered. (I suggested this to the company and they didn’t seem to care to improve the product).
Other thing is the sagging I and thinking about drilling through the floor (where I drew the red circle) and putting an anchor point that I can attach a carabiner from
the bedding catch to it to support the front middle.
I think you would be fine as long as you spread out the load under the upper bolt head. Fender washer or something a bit larger. And don’t tighten down tight on the panel either, you can crush the upper and lower surfaces, they are not thick or particularly strong. No guarantees.
I don’t have T-track there in mine for some reason (or do I need to just flip that panel around? Also it would bring the bedding catch pretty far forward for mine it looks like.
Ah I see! Wonder of you could run something like this with a fat piece of vhb tape mounting it to the panel in the location you want. I’d imagine the loading from the gear hammock wouldn’t be enough to pull it off.
