Mark makes some high quality stuff from what I have seen. He uses high strength plastics that have some REALLY strong strength.
I think sliders/rails are next. My truck is fairly lifted, so I’m considering the option with the little platform near the rear wheel well- small spot to stand. It’s always “almost finished” eh?
These have the rear kick out, although they are pretty tight to the body and not filled with a plate. But that area is convenient for standing on to access stuff for sure!
I often wish I had a small stool when wrestling my awning straps, so maybe the kick out is a good idea. Thanks!
Made a simple but huge improvement to our VRNCLR bedding Catch. As great as that product is, it would occasionally dump our stuff out of it while driving bumpy roads. More a result of it being overstuffed than anything!
We put a grommet in the catch, installed a small picture frame hanger in the t-track, and used a small nite ize s-biner to connect the two. So far, all our over stuffed items have stayed in place!
Put in this semi fold-away morning coffee seat.
Perfectly comfortable when making and drinking coffee downstairs in the camper.

@WrinkledPants
Many thanks to Overland Softgoods for the custom size back cushion cover and stuff sack that is perfect for my stow-able seat! Scott and Sharon offer great quality needlework and superb service. Couldn’t be happier…
When my wife joins me on camp excursions, I leave the platform cushions in place so I needed another cushion option downstairs.
Peace.
Here’s a quick little breakdown of some recent updates:
- Finally got Drip Rails from our guy @jedgar
- Completed my set w/ 4 new Lock Covers from @Buhlockaye of BZ Shop
- Dometic’s GO Hydration Series 11 Liter Jug & Water Faucet. Official placement TBD.
- And my personal favorite, a custom end cap from @Buhlockaye for my Outgear Solutions Tilted Bumper that I recently installed. The bumper doesn’t quite reach the fender, so this fills the void. 3D printed and finish with Flex Seal, son.
- Also upgrade to LED headlights… changed muh damn life like I knew it would. Why do Tacoma headlights always suck.
Anyway, here’s a video if you didn’t read any of that…
(3D Cap detail, and as you can see, that’s a big ole gap.)
Yeah… I could cut those finger nails.
Glad to help and video is killer as always
Added a BD rock light to the bottom of the rear panel for a little more light while cooking at night on the tail gate.
Also added USB charging ports downstairs and upstairs, all controlled by the Switch Pro.
Finally got around to replacing the beef bar towers as well. I’ve had the new ones for a while but had been putting off doing it because of all the issues people seemed to be having. No issues with mine but I did notice my beef bars seem to be holding quite a bit of water and I don’t live in a very wet place. Has anyone drilled drain holes in the bottom of them?
TV on pop down mount. Tucks up well and swivels.
Looking forward to bringing the baseball season with me!
Ok this is awesome but can you explain the TV? Do you use it for demos, etc.?
What do you like better about the C5 compared to the originals? My biggest gripe is that inserting the keys is really a pain with the ones that GFC provides.
Recently tweaked our small radio setup in the truck. It’s still a pretty low-budget installation, just under $120 for everything. Eventually, we would like to install a more powerful setup (for other nerdy HAM radio-related activities), but for now, this works great!
Heres a list of everything we used.

Ah, perfect. Did not notice that.
Based on this comment are you also in tech sales (like me)?
I’m just a big sports fan, man.
I’m outside most of everyday so getting out in nature isn’t really a break from the chaos for me.
I usually bring my iPad and have a game on when I’m camping and figured for the price of a $30 mount and TV I already had it was worth a shot. Not sure if I’ll use it much but I’m guessing when I do I’ll be pretty pleased
Nice simple setup, I like it!! This also reminds me I need to get my Ham license.
