Water / Weather proofing a 21' Ford Ranger

Hey Ford Ranger crew!

Super excited to get my Go Fast in the next couple of weeks. I’ve heard from a few folks about potential waterproofing issues on the bed railing of the 21’ Ford Ranger. There’s a noticeable gap towards the cab of the bed, and I’m curious about what everyone has done to make it more weatherproof. Any tips, help, or videos would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I went around the entire inside bed with black caulking and butyl tape and filled in all the holes (there’s a lot). I also seal the front bottom of the bed towards the cab. I wish I had taken the plastic bed rails off as some have on other trucks and ran a bead under that. I have the ESI bed seal kit with the tailgate gap seal (just added that). I also put butyl tape in the corners where the camper door meets the tailgate. It’s not 100% but it’s pretty close and doesn’t bother me.
