Got my Kinsmen awning on…working from home is much more enjoyable now
@the_philxx Its a Surf Grass mat. Like a rug. I put it at the bottom of my ladder or tailgate.
It was free or I wouldn’t have one.
Meh - I’m usually out solo so think I’ll be good.
Honestly, took the economical route…AA powered LED strips from Amazon. Did one on each side for about $12 each.
What size fridge did you get and what size would you recommend? It’s 2 of us.
What size did you get? My iceco 42L fits me perfectly. I keep the bottom of the fridge stocked with La Croix and keep the upper level open for food or whatever.when I go out with the whole family it is almost a little small.
I bought the IceCo VL45 when it was on sale last week - arrived yesterday and I believe it’s going to be the perfect size.
Not too much weight for the panel gas struts to handle?
No they still open up and stay up. I may look and see if I can get a bigger Strut. But I don’t have too.
Looks pretty sweet. Do you have a link?

Removed all GFC padding, replaced 50/50 panels with 3/4" plywood cut to 75/25 (36" + 12"), and added Sea to Summit Rectangular Wide Camp Plus inflatable pads. Now my lady can get in and out of the camper without folding all the bedding on top of me.
We have used this setup for multiple nights and it works great. It is super comfy and we can easily close the GFC with pads and bedding up top.
I am very cautious for all kinds of upgrades for GFC, so for this week I just bought a road bike. It was a desired purchase and I needed to find a place in my GFC for it. So I was busy cleaning my GFC and actually it looks good now with the bike
Created a bracket and some cleats for anchoring awnings or whatever you see fit to the T-Slot mounts and the side doors.

I made two hook type designs and then a cleat you can thread rope or stretch chord through to lace up an awning.
Then this bracket for hanging my shower that I also made the shower mat for out of scrap wood, I got to try it out this weekend it was 90 degrees but the water was cool and refreshing lol.
Thanks, they’re made out of micro-carbon nylon. I can 3D print in batches of 20. Just in case anyone’s
Interested! This one just finished printing. image|421x500
