What have you done to your GFC this week

This is rad!

I’ve so wanted to try this; but man I’d have to do it when the build out is out for sure. LOL

Thinking about something very similar to use that space, but using some plywood from floor up. I have a bunk built in similar to yours but other side of bed. Good to see yours!

I’d definitely like to see a full height rear panel.

I’ve had this setup before but I had to modify my lower hose to reach as it was originally plumbed directly out of the bed. The splitter is fantastic to add heat to upper and lower levels. If I’m by myself I will usually just leave out a square panel and pump the heat through the bed only. The splitter also helps cut the heat down a little too, the 5kw heaters are really really hot. The electrical is wired through this nice quick plug into the beds aux bus bar that is fed from my Jackery. I need to add a circuit to run my 12v computer fan to keep temps down in the side box while the heat is running.

It’s currently just zipped into the screen on the tent. If anybody has a better option to attach it to the tent, I’m all ears.

These are all for a 3” 5kw heater. I use the standard worm clamps for the parts that will stay assembled permanently. The hoses that come on and off frequently, I use hand tighten worm clamps. Pretty sure I just bought those at Lowe’s by the RV stuff.

Installed a drawer system into the back of the truck. We were previously using DeWalt toolboxes for all of our gear but it was taking up so much room - this is a game changer. Makes getting in and out of the tent via the bed a lot simpler too.

Drawers are very basic, but awesome (bought them used so they need a paint job).

Built a shelf and picked up some crates from Sidio. The price is a bit steep for a crate but the quality seems good and I like the modular dividers. Storage and organization is essential, especially with the 5’ bed.

Love the esthetic of these boxes.

Plumbed in an RV connect sprayer fitting. I also relocated the power switch for the pump and added a few extra for later. This will be handy to use water outside of the truck.

Added the AluCab fridge slider w/ tilt, mounted to the Deckd/Yakima Tracks (all holes line up, so it’s super easy)… Also finally started the process of pulling each electrical component OUT of the custom wooden box and tucking them into individual cubbies. The USB/120 sockets are now readily accessible from the front corner, standing outside. Next step is disassembly of Deckd system to find hiding spots for as many components as possible. We may use the ammo cans to house things, just depends on space.
