I’m interested in them as well when they restock.
Just waiting on a few pieces of hardware to get delivered, but the roof brackets are officially restocked! Accepting orders now. Cheers
Hey @mtbluv and anyone else curious. I have three package options available.
Basic - mounting arms and hardware only - $215
Essentials - arms and mkii mounting pins - $280
VIP - pins assembled / torqued into arms - $300
All prices are the final shipped cost. Thanks!
Sweet! Yes I’d like to order a basic! Wahoo!
Sending you a dm. Can’t wait!
Wahoo!
@Wild_Mitten Have you thought about making a version of these bars specifically for the back of the GFC (for tailgate access) that uses a beef bar as a secondary mounting point, versus floating on the plas-core panel? These look pretty sweet, by the way!
Hey Shawn. I haven’t put any thought into that since the intent was to not need beef bars. It is a solid idea though and maybe now that these ones are selling I can look into other variations. Thanks.
Done!
Hey @Wild_Mitten! Would love to order an Essentials package! Let me know how we can proceed to ordering.
Do you have any beef bars or did you mount this maxtrax mount solo on the roof of the GFC?
I do have beef bars but they aren’t needed wit this max trax mount, it mounts to the camper roof itself.
I was curious if you had beef bars because I assume the beef bars would assist in the aerodynamics of the mount/maxtrax. I don’t have beef bars, so I assume the aerodynamics might be worse in the rear vs. the side as originally advertised. My mounts came in this weekend, so I’ll test both out and come back with what I find.
yeah, I was operating under the same assumption as you. I do (did) have beef bars and I assume they were helping with the aero dynamics although I’m guessing even without them it wouldn’t be an issue since the max trax are so close to the roof of the GFC.
You have these mounts in stock and will it fit the V1 model.
Hey Paul. Yes, I have some in stock. I’ve only had one V1 purchase and it was a snug fit. I’ve updated the mounts since then to accommodate the lower channels. They should be good to go!
Sounds good I will take a set how do I place an order.
These look awesome. Any guidance on how well these hold up to corrugated road/high speed hits?
