I’m still running my tool steel prototype arms, and they’ve held up to everything my National Forest can throw at it. The production arms are a stronger/stiffer stainless steel. Each arm is held on with 4 track nuts across two t-slots to help increase stiffness as well. There is some vibration at the end of the arms, but I supply adhesive bumper pads to absorb those hits and protect the roof. I haven’t been back out west to test them in a desert setting at all, though.
A quick plug for these mounts. I’ve used them for a year now in Alaska without issue. I have them mounted at the back for tailgate access with a beef bar right in front of the maxtrax. I have to take them off to open the tent but really I need them to level my jeep so they were coming off anyways. Super secure mount without any rattling or damage to the roof panel even in seriously rocky trails.
Thanks for the update, Adam! Glad you’re liking them
Is there a URL to purchase?
I have two sets of these that are the full prepped “VIP” kit, brand new, still in original packaging. I bought them to spread my Maxtrax on either side of my truck, and ended up going a different route. I’ll sell them for what I paid. DM me or just email me at ginozahnd@gmail.com for photos. Cheers, Gino in Colorado
I was thinking the same thing. I like the lower profile of these vs mounting them on top of the beef bars and also that it keeps the beef bars open to mount other things. Additionally supporting them on something rigid like the beef bars would definitely prevent any damage to the roof when mounting them across the back from additional wind forces and even better than mounting them along the side for road vibrations. Obviously this won’t work for everyone since you need beef bars, but for those that have them, it seems like a better option. Great product btw!
Hello everyone. As this new year is getting started, I’ve been thinking about doing another run of these mounts. I’ll probably do 10-15 kits. Anyone that is interested, please respond to this thread or send me a message. It makes it easier when I have a list prepared prior to having the product in hand. Thank you. Also, huge thanks to my prior customers who have posted photos and reviews. It is greatly appreciated. Let’s keep nature wild!

I’d take a VIP kit
Appreciate it. I don’t have a hard hit time for fulfillment. Just a preliminary planning stage right now. I’ll reach out once I get product in hand. Cheers!
Hello again, everyone. With the rising cost of raw materials, I unfortunately have to make a minor price adjustment moving forward. Each kit will increase by $10 starting with the next batch. Thank you for your understanding. New prices are as follows.
Basic - mounting arms and hardware only - $225
Essentials - arms and mkii mounting pins - $290
VIP - pins assembled / torqued into arms - $310
All prices reflect the final shipped cost. Thanks!
I have a crazy ask @Wild_Mitten lol
Any chance you would be interested in mocking up/creating a one off mounting system for the hood of my gladiator? I don’t mind bolting through the hood to secure it OR use the mountain location that’s typically used for high lift jacks it would just need to be angled and your brackets currently are strong enough I just don’t have the knowledge skillset to bed them properly
