Anyone add any type of zipper pulls to help quiet down the tent in the wind? I may just make some with paracord but I’m “knot” the best at tying sweet knots.

I’m looking to cut my metal pulls off and do the same. I got 550 cord. The metal pulls are noisy in windy situations.

on the advice of someone on here went this route. now use them on a couple back packs as well…

This sounds like a really nice mod! Would you mind sharing any pics of them on your tent?
I saw loads of pictures of peoples tents with orange zipper pulls (before I picked up my RTT) and when mine didn’t have any, I thought it had been forgotten, but maybe just discontinued.
My platform camper tent had the orange pulls originally but my warranty replacement tent did not. I think the zipper pulls are easily caught in between the extrusions if you’re not careful and that’s why they stopped including them (once the weather seal between the extrusions became the norm).
But removing the metal pull tab would probably reduce this issue and I might swap my original pulls back in if I have any issues with noisy metal pull tabs in the future.

Does anyone have a good video on HOW to remove the standard metal tabs from the zipper pull?
I cut all of mine off with metal snips

Just cut one side of the metal oval , if you are worried make only one cut and bend the metal so you don’t accidentally damage the main zipper body
I used bolt cutters and one snip was nice because it also deformed/ bent the tab enough that it just unhooked easily in one fluid motion
