Nope.
I’m rocking that year one hardware.
Educated guess though even with the gen 2 architecture changes, that location is in the main harness and the shortest run to that light. Unless they made it wireless it should still exist and any change to wiring like that would make the run more complex/expensive.
Been looking interestedly at an R1T or F-150 lightning, but my Colorado gets pretty bad mileage with the camper on top, so I’m worried about the range decrease. What sort of range do you get in the Rivian with the camper installed?
@HighVoltOverland Just got mine installed in Oregon. Hoping to get it in the snow this week. How are your buttons functioning. My driver side tonneau and gear tunnel buttons stick in the depressed setting. I have to use a stick or key to get them to the home position.
Second. Do you find any tonneau track deformation from the mounting points of the cap. My cover stalls out under the rear mounting point. It looks like it has a slight wave to it now.
What sort of gasket did you use between the cap and bed?
Congrats! I’m in Oregon too. I had mine installed in November. Buttons had issues in the very beginning. Solution was to back off their screws a tiny bit, move the GFC button hardware up (there’s a little bit of play in the screw holes) and then retighten.
No problem with my tonneau. I’d get GFC to weigh in. I use the tonneau cover several times a week and it’s never had an issue post camper install.
Wait, what?? Your spare was under a panel in the bed?? At least that space is useful, my spare used to be under my truck and there’s no use for that space
Yeah, because of the skateboard battery architecture there’s no space under/ in between the frame like a regular truck
I am most likely going to put the traild water containers in that space (which were actually designed for normal spare set ups if you are looking to make that space useful I. A different way)
