If anyone with a V2 in the Bend Oregon area wants to let me prototype off of it I’d love to try to make something.
Excited to see what you come up with! Installed my Drip rails last night in a rain storm! Super stoked on them!
I have posted some pics on Instagram but wanted to post here too. I have a new product up for pre-order called the BuddyMount.
Mount your Mr. Buddy Buddy Heater (model MH9BX) to your trucks factory bedrail. Extends heater 1.5" out from the bedrail to allow for campers and other bed top accessories. Aluminum bracket with stainless steel hardware. $55 includes the tnuts for a Toyota bed rail and stainless mounting hardware. Options to use your own mounting hardware, and an optional lift/drop bracket to accommodate different bed configurations. Goal is to ship out by February 1st!
Order is in!!! I head up on Feb 11 for my V2 install. Have been contemplating how I was going to mount my heater. Thanks for nailing this down.
Thanks for the order!
Order in, these look awesome! No reason for me to fab my own as you are selling for a very fair price. Thanks!
Awesome thanks Roger! Appreciate the support!
Got the final aluminum version made up today so wanted to add a few pics of it. Ended up stiffer than expected which is great.
So rad. Just ordered. Thanks again!
I kinda can see this being mounted to the side of a 50 cal. ammo can and have that be mounted to the bedside for storage
@jedgar does the Mr Buddy mount work on a drop in bed liner? From your website it looks like it needs to be on the stock bare bed?
It mounts to the rails so I don’t think the bedliner would matter. It puts the back of the heater 1.5” out from the rail so if you have that much clearance you should be all set. Let me know if you need any other measurements or info!
BeefBoost now available for pre-order!
Lift your Go Fast Camper Beef Rack up and extra 1.5 inches to gain extra clearance for aftermarket accessories. Made of black powdercoated 4130 Chromoly Steel and uses your existing hardware.
Tried my best to keep these reasonable priced since people have already spent so much on the racks themselves, but 4130 Chromoly isn’t cheap right now unfortunately. $80 for 4 so $40 per Beef bar. Gave as aggressive of a quantity break as I could for folks that have more than 2 Beef bars.
Another well thought out and well made product! Thanks!
@jedgar - re: DripRail installation. The DripRails I received included a plastic rectangular backing plate. Is this intended to be installed between the extrusion and the DripRail? Or is it just something that is there for shipping purposes?
I nearly tossed them, but then had the thought that maybe they serve a purpose.
Interested in the answer to your question because I have noticed runoff down the face of the drip rail. A plastic spacer between the drip catch and camper would maybe solve that problem.
Hey @claw those do go between the extrusion and the DripRail to give a little gap for water running off the side.
Will be sending off an order for these on Friday
