So a little while after my above post Josh started adding a spacer to the drip rail kit and it has pretty much fixed the issue I was describing above. He sent me the updated drip rail and it works great. It has been so dry in Cali I haven’t had a chance to really test them out until the last couple of days but wanted to set the record straight. Thanks Josh.

Finally have DripRails in stock again!
These are laser cut, cnc bent, TIG welded, and powdercoated in a satin black. These have been slightly redesigned with a small lip and slight extension added to help when you are not level, and a delrin spacer to help with water coming over the side on V2 campers. They now also include all stainless steel mounting hardware and are $120.00 for the set.

Nice. I was thinking of pulling mine off and adding some sort of lip. If I wreck them too much I may just have to order a new set!
