My brother just picked up a new in package turbo nap from a guy who had it a few towns away, for $500 too.
FYI, I just called GFC and spoke with Colin. He said that headliners and drip rails are backordered and my headliner would probably be 3-4 weeks out, drip rails likely sooner. He also emailed a zero dollar invoice to me so I have an order # if needed. I suggested that they have a checklist for each delivery so that everyone knows what is included or missing.
The problem is you never know if you can trust the support team’s answers — if you even get an answer. I’ve heard wildly different responses to various issues, and for this particular issue (the headliner) I have yet to see a single accurate response from support. If you go through this thread, you’ll see people were told very different things and none of us have received a headliner, or have any idea when they are coming. At the beginning of August, I was told two weeks. In September, someone else commented saying support told them 30 days. Someone else was told 4-8 weeks in September. I was later told they would be ready in December. Now in the middle of January, they’re telling you 3-4 weeks. You just can’t trust anything these guys say. Meanwhile, I still can’t even get a response to support tickets that have been open for months for completely separate issues.
Yo! I totally understand your frustration and honestly I don’t blame you.
We just sent out another email tonight with the most up to date and accurate lead times I can possibly get. I have spent countless hours speaking with vendors, our production team, and coordinating where and when we can get carpet to be the most up to speed before we give anyone a lead time.
We will continue to update as we go, and will let you guys know the ups and the downs in order to be as transparent as possible. I can’t really speak to the past as I wasn’t involved in the communications, but I can guarantee transparency moving forward

GFC 1/15 Update Email
V2 Pro Accessory Update 1/15
Howdy GFC Fam,
First and foremost, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate supply chain challenges and delays in delivering your accessories. Your support means the world to us, and we’re working tirelessly to get everything in your hands as soon as possible. Here’s the latest on what’s happening at GFC HQ:
Accessory Updates
Drip Rails
Our Drip Rails are moving steadily through production. A large batch is currently being powder-coated, and we’ve just received another shipment ready for the same process. Starting next week, shipping will resume for outstanding orders, and we aim to have all Drip Rail orders fulfilled within four weeks.
Camper Lighting Kits
Sometimes, even the best plans run into surprises. With the Chinese New Year extending lead times at our vendor’s factory, our usual four-week turnaround doubled unexpectedly. Despite this, we’re making headway:
-
By the end of January: 30 kits will ship out.
-
In February: Another 20 kits will be ready.
-
By mid April: A larger shipment will arrive in March allowing us to fulfill all remaining orders.
We know this delay is frustrating, but rest assured, brighter days (and lighting kits) are ahead.
TurboNap
TurboNap orders are in the final stretch! Our shipping partner has been steadily sending out 6 Standard kits daily, and XL TurboNaps will begin shipping next week thanks to an overnight shipment of covers. At our current pace, all outstanding TurboNap orders should be out the door in the next 2.5 weeks.
Headliners
As you all know by now, this has been a bit of an adventure. Vendor system changes and ice storms delayed our shipment of 42 rolls of fabric, but they’re finally en route. Once the fabric lands here in Montana, it will be split, laser-cut, and sent to our contract manufacturer, who can produce around 160 headliner kits per week.
-
This week: We’ve already shipped around 60 headliners and will continue to send out as many as possible as we receive this last batch from our contract manufacturer here in Montana.
-
In 14 days: We should get our first batch of headliners back from the rolls of fabric that are on their way. From there, we can continue boxing and shipping headliners at a consistent cadence.
We also want to address the missed deadlines for headliner submissions outlined in our December email. These delays have unfortunately pushed back production schedules and created additional challenges. To recap, the deadlines communicated in December were crucial to maintaining our timeline, and the missed deadlines have resulted in a delay in getting headliners shipped out by the date initially communicated. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to resolve these issues and get headliners into your hands as soon as possible.
V2 Pro Tent Upgrades
We’re still on track to start shipping the new V2 Pro Tent upgrades in February. If you’re interested in installation at one of our partner shop locations or here in Montana, stay tuned—we’ll share more details soon.
Exciting News: The Leaderboard is Live!
We’re stoked to announce that our Leaderboard is officially up and running! This tool provides a transparent view of our progress, letting you track your order and see exactly where you stand. The leaderboard updates in real-time, so you’ll know when your accessories are on their way.

Thank you for your patience, your trust, and for being part of the GFC family.

Thabks for the update post. Tomorrow is February 1st and srill no news on v2 pro tent upgrade installs?
Heyo Thomas…
Not to be a squeaky wheel, but the airtable hasn’t been updated since it’s posting:
Just curious since it has been ~3wks…
It says it updates in real time. So maybe they just haven’t shipped anything?
Any updates on shipping V2 Pro tents? The leaderboard shows zero have been shipped and we’re almost halfway through February…
I also haven’t seen any info about the professional installation you mentioned in your previous update a month ago.
I find the lack of clear expectations and follow through concerning and disheartening. In the past I recommended GFCs because of the product and reliability from support team. This rollout has shaken that trust in GFC. I’m still waiting on all but one thing I pre-ordered and the biggest thing is the tent swap and there’s no indication of it actually being done in February. Trust is hard to get and easier to lose. I think GFC is losing it during this V2 Pro… overpromising and under delivering is bad business.
I couldn’t agree more. Been waiting since September 19th for Turbo Nap. They still seem to be unable to give me a real estimate of when I can expect delivery. Sad the people who installed my V2 (who seem to have been replaced) were great this new staff i can’t say the same.
No follow through on what was said or an update on why what was said did not actually occur… typical GFC. I can’t imagine running a business like is being done.
Just got shipping Notification for my Headliner (ordered on release day)
Same! I ordered on the first day available. Phew. Glad it will finally be headed my way.
A few weeks ago I was told all headliners by early Feb. Checking the leaderboard there are thousands of headliners before my order number. Shouldn’t my order number be when I ordered the camper in August?
It’s getting old having condensation dripping on our heads all night.
I am in the same boat. Camper was ordered in September, installed a month ago middle of January. I received an email about my “headliner order confirmation” about a week before the install date. There are thousands of headliners between the last shipped order and where my order would be but my order number isn’t even on the list…
I haven’t yet heard of anyone confirming that the headliner works for its intended purpose. I haven’t ordered yet because of my concern that it may fall off when it gets hot.
People have been doing a similar install with DIY marine carpets and other similar materials and reported very good results. Basically the condensation gets stuck in the many layers and weaves of the material.
It’s installed using heavy duty velcro with 3M backed adhesive it should have no problem staying in place when hot.
