4th and final night in Hankinson Hills CG, ND. sitting still for 4 days straight in a really enjoyable campground was a real treat!
Crashed on the street at a friends place in Mobridge, SD.
First Night on the South Dakota BDR-X, super excited to explore this route. We are planning on driving the 350mile loop over 14 days.

Day 28 - Inuvik, NWT, CA
Got to the end of road today, and thought about camping there
But wind was way too strong and I don’t want to take the chance of having wind break the camper, so drove back to Inuvik for the night.
Caught Northern Light as I got out to take a leak. This is the only time I got to see Northern Light since I got into the zone 3 weeks ago.

i was speechless. I wasn’t even inside the northern light zone (Inuvik isn’t, according to the forecast)
thank goodness I gotta pee in the middle of the night or else i wouldn’t even try.
After just barely hitting 50 nights last year I needed to make night 50 this year something special.

South Dakota DBR-X night number 2, super fun getting out to this spot, the trail was definitely meant for SXS’s but we just barely fit, so we sent.
SD-BDR-X night Number 3. super fun sections of road getting to this point. fun ‘flowy’ fireroads.
4th night on SD-BDR-X and our 100th cataloged night here on the forum, in reality, we have spent 117 nights in the truck this year, but there have been some that I haven’t photographed that didn’t get posted here.

I actually tried to cheat today and get a hotel room there because I didn’t want to deal with the mud but they were sold out.

Night #23-25 - John Day River, Oregon
Camping trip with my girlfriend and our friends. First time camping with a larger group of people and it was a ton of fun. Got a great site on the river with enough room for all of us. Some awesome rockhounding in the area too, found some huge agates
