Night 45: Parks Highway
what a setup!!! This thing is amazing!
Another night on the shore of Lake Superior, I had no idea this area is so gorgeous! Seriously pretty freshwater beaches just blew my mind!
Absolutely booked it through the northern midwest where we struggled to find public lands and landed in Hankinson Hills Campground, ND. Our next objective is to spend several days on the SD BDR-X
Night 46: Backside of Denali (very rainy)
Night 47: Southside of Denali (unplanned but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture the old man at sunset)
Day 24 - Denali Highway
took 2 nights off in Fairbanks to get my stuff in order after the attempt on Dalton.
Night 35: Iron Gate Campground, Pecos Wilderness Area, New Mexico.
Night 36: Iron Gate Campground, Pecos Wilderness Area, New Mexico. Same place as the previous night but as soon as I got back from fishing a storm moved in and it got cold. Here’s a picture of a fish instead.
NIGHTS 085 & 086 / Pitstop in Indiana Dunes Nat’l Park between city hangs in Detroit & Chicago.
NIGHT 087 / First time in Iowa, campsite was very on brand.
NIGHTS 088 & 089 / Posted up here at Cedar Pass Campground for working and facilities before migrating over to some boondocking sites outside of the park.
which one is which lolll
LMAO! I’d say the trailer is the guest house
Second night in the Hankinson Hill CG
3 nights in the same spot hasn’t happened on this trip since leaving my family’s place in VA, Its been a very welcomed change of pace.
that is a very interesting gate mechanism
First I had seen like that too, it has a strong garage like spring on it to assist moving it’s weight. Id imagine it’s a lot easier to open and still remain on your horse, likely why it’s done that way.
that’s a valid reason!
I should consider the Go fast ‘the office’ . The boys mother is up there on a call.
Day 3 - 5. Missed day two…it was busy!
