Night 42: Petaca Campground, Pilar, New Mexico.
Night 43: Petaca Campground, Pilar, New Mexico. I was looking for northern pike. I didn’t find any but I did run into some smallmouth which is a new species on the fly (despite being from Georgia).

What bike rack are you using?
I use the Rocky Mount system that swings away from the back bumper. Probably one of the more expensive ones out there, but it was pretty simple to assemble and works fantastic. Finished a 1300+ mile drive through eastern BC including a couple of rough roads and the rack is as solid as ever. I see this thing working well for many years and trips.
Hit a moose and got a flat that just wouldn’t plug. About a day behind on the journey to Expo but still rolling!
