Superlite is here!

Thanks! This was very helpful. Really annoying that the forester side rails are narrower in the back!

If anyone is interested in order number shipping updates. I was order number 9128 and my Superlite just showed up today.

Anyone heard anything about batch 3 materials? They said on the website they were supposed to get the materials early-mid september. It’s looking like they are finishing up batch 2 now so I’m hoping they can roll right into batch 3. They haven’t posted a weekly update or an update on the leaderboard in several weeks now

The Superlite leaderboard is being actively updated. We’re currently building and shipping Batch 3. We also do a weekly update and synopsis of production numbers here:

Have you stopped responding to support@ inquiries? I sent two emails with no response a couple days ago

Does anyone know how to order the Track Studs that fit the Superlight? I ordered the ones on the accessories page and they are tiny.

@Fred6v - We’re still answering that email. In all cases we strive to respond within five business days at the moment. That said, it’s possible we may have missed your email as we’re in the process of building out support teams for different types of inquiries and the workflow for routing inquiries to the correct team isn’t quite finished yet.

Our customer service capacity has lagged behind our production capacity (out of necessity unfortunately). But we are very aware of that fact and we’re actively working to fix it. Our responsiveness and helpfulness will improve.

This might be a dumb question/already answered, does anyone know how the order the tents are being made is determined? I was hoping mine would be built this week, I’m still at “Order Placed” while some others after me are “Ready for Production”. It’s ultimately not a big deal which is why I haven’t asked support but I was hoping I could make it up to Glacier this weekend after picking it up.

Great thanks for the update! Wasn’t aware the production updates had moved to a different page, good to know.

You can email them and they can send you an invoice for purchase. I had purchased two extra mount brackets with the hardware. It’s not listed on the site.

I’ve emailed Support and left a message on their voicemail. No replies so far. I’d bet they’re really busy. I’m confident they’ll get back to me in time.

Well, it finally came! My Superlite and accessories arrived this week. Although I have not put it on top of my canopy, I have unboxed it and opened it up. After the long wait, everything seems to be in order. I did notice one of the top velcro straps for the end poles was a little short and I was unable to wrap it around the pole. Also noticed a made in China label on the inside of the tent. Wonder what percentage is made in the USA? One of the reasons I liked GFC is their products were made in the USA. FYI…Mattress is made in Taiwan and although I couldn’t find a label I bet the ladder was made in China. I smelled like Harbor Freight. Hope to get it mounted up soon and try it out.

Unless you are in the queue for a Superlite, GFC has stopped taking orders for these. There are a few people selling them. Just keep your eyes out. What state are you located?

The only thing that happens in the US is they put all the foreign-made components together. Everything else is made outside the US.

For the love of Pete - does anyone know what hardware is needed to mount the QD latches to a Prinsu- they produced a video but failed to provide that info: what size tnuts? and the bolt specs that are compatible with the qd. Thanks in advance!

@Medic-G I had the same issue with mine on for the tent pole strap. Velcro was either sewed in too high on the tent, or the velcro strap is too short to wrap around the pole.

Hopefully it will not be an issue. If so, will need to figure out a solution. Don’t want or need the tent collapsing unexpectedly.

Don’t know the QA they do on these. Maybe the issue will be caught and corrected.

I figured this was the case when I saw the label. It would have been nice if it was more made in America.

Lets hope so. But I would definitely pack some extra velcro to fix it. Overall a good product, but you cant help but notice small issues with it that makes it feel like it was 90% completed then just shipped out.
