T-Nuts inside RTT rails

Hello,

any idea what T-Nuts can be used for the rails inside the RTT?

I am planning to put few of this,

but the following regular T-nuts from GFC doesn’t work:

That square base is big, the 2 ram balls on my 1st post are perfect for the inside rails, It just needs the correct T-nuts

I sent an email to GFC support to see what their advise

I just worry with out a set back it will hit the top panel. I plan to cut back the other mounting side and just use 2 mounting points.

The clearance is tight but you can connect the RAM arms easy.

got a reply from Engineering, they said that this should work:

Though I am wondering, is this T-nuts different from the T-nuts that are included on the UNIVERSAL MOUNTING BRACKET, because i tried to use the T-nuts from this and it didn’t work neither

They do make 2 sizes. The awning bracket uses the 1/4-20 ones so maybe the inside tracks use the 10-32 size?

Edit: Never mind I just spaced that both sizes fit the same tracks.

U trimmed down the 1/4-20 T-nuts.
