Tent insulation

I get that! A lot of what I do is based on making things comfortable for my wife, too! I really enjoy her company so it’s worth the effort.

I read an interesting article and wanted to share it with those who need it. Specifically, the article mentions tent insulation for those who prefer camping on cold winter days. Camping in the cold can be dangerous, but knowing the right insulation will help keep you safer from the cold and other winter threats.

Hi! Do you guys ever make an insulation kit for the GFC? Very interested if so.

Thanks!

Are there any insulation kits for the GFC on the market? I saw ThermaPuff™ Insulation Kit - Super Pacific USA for Super Pacific, would be really nice to get something similar for the GFC.

They need to offer a color other than white… you’d feel like youre in a padded room lol

that makes me feel like im locked up in a psych ward lol

The iKamper BDV Duo insulation kit may fit a standard size gfc. Footprint is 49.5” x 82.5”.

I have an XL so it wouldn’t work for mine.

def interested as well here.

Reviving: anyone know if this would work for the V2?

If anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative to the rumple route you can get synthetic blankets sold extremely cheap online or in mil surplus stores by purchasing “Poncho Liners”/“Woobies”
They are nice to play around with as the usually have corner ties sewn in to help mock up a mounting solution

Also down throws can be had for cheap, for years leading into winter Costco sell decent down throws that can be bought for about $10 a piece that are incredibly popular for conversion to hammock quilts, maybe be a good candidate for down insulation walls
