Thanks Josh. That won’t be needed, I was just curious.
Hi there- I’m looking for a set of YakMounts but they’re no longer on your site. I hope that you are planning another batch? No hurry, my build won’t be done until around Christmas of 2024. Thanks!
Hey I am no longer making them. I have had some interest so will let you know if I do another run.
I have some yakmounts I got and never installed that I would sell to you. I’ve decided I’m going to eventually fabricate my own kayak stacker for the beef rack.
Sounds good, I will try and figure out how to send you a PM. Thanks,
Hey Josh. I used the heater pass through for the first time. Loved it! So much easier than running the hose up through a window. Definitely a good choice for anyone looking to heat the lower portion as well as their tent. I slept with the mattress in bunk mode (the two squares out and used as a separate bed below) and the whole camper stayed about 61° with the diesel heater set to 5.2.
Are you still willing to give out the 3d print files?
Hey @smcd355 The 3D printed version only worked for the V1 Campers. If you have a V1 by chance I’d be happy to pass it along.
Thanks for the quick response @jedgar, I dont have a V1 but would love to print it for a buddy who does
@jedgar the mounts worked awesome, just what I was looking for. I love them and think they make the truck look much better!
hi @trash_panda_garage and @high_desert_rex . I sent Dean my last set of the prototype. It is still on the plan, but not sure when i’ll have time to do any up.
Hey @jedgar do you still make the hatch latches for the V1? I picked up a v1 recently and would love to be able to secure it from the inside
Thank you
Hi @Nicklovin I don’t have any available right now, but will let you know if I do another small run. Thanks!
Does anyone have any pics of the heater pass through when not in use? Curious how well it keeps dust and water out while on the trails.
Hi @blarblarjosh @Wild_Mitten has been running it for a while. Any feedback Ryan? I have had zero issues, but I live in the desert so my opinion isn’t as valid as someone from Michigan!
I installed my Step Up and drip rails this weekend while camping. Why does GFC use SAE bolts on the stupid clamps?? Thankfully I had the right size allen wrench but geez
America!
Hey Josh. I’ve had mine on all winter up here and haven’t had any weather ingress. I get more leak from the side panel hinge than I do from the pass through. I love it. If it ever becomes an issue, it’s thick enough that you could carve a small channel and put an o-ring in the cap to seal against the panel better although I haven’t needed one.
