Just waiting for a call to schedule an install! Beyond excited. GFC has been great to work with. Considering I’ve only had the truck since 2/15/21, I’m pretty fortunate to have such a short wait time compared to some.
Edit 7/20/21: Still waiting to hear from GFC… kinda scary sending over $7,000 and not hearing anything for 2+ weeks

I am build 1973. Still have yet to hear from GFC but I’m hoping it is today or tomorrow.
Hi Danny! Thanks for the heads up. I’m heading there the last weekend of July and will be making alternate plans just in case as well.
If you don’t mind, what are some of the other spots you would recommend?
In between the Gallatin Gateway and West Yellowstone there are quite a few forest roads to get lost on. One I would recommend is the Taylor Fork rd area which is just outside the park. There are several roads that go off of this road but its a great place to hang out. Lots of grizzlies so beware.

We had monday off over at the shop and have been catching up on a new database management system we rolled out over the holiday weekend.
We are going to resume scheduling folks starting tomorrow, so if you have paid and are awaiting a call we will be reaching out starting tomorrow to most folks.
Starting to think we should add a section to our forum for meetups. Any ideas on what to call it?
What kind of meetups? Talking like a Cars&Coffee sort of thing?
Lots of folks are talking about road tripping out together, but theres also ten people per day being scheduled to get installs completed. Could be fun for people to coordinate camping together upon receiving product.
Or even meeting up in their home region for camping weekends. IRL>intrawebs basically.
I like the idea of Regional groups meeting and getting together. The development of regional reps could even help in bring issues to GFC’s consideration for improvement of the product.
It will be nice culminating with an annual gathering in Montana or elsewhere. How should the regions look (state,etc)
Should we move forward with this idea?
Big fan of this idea. I do like the regional thing too. As well as a single “roadtrip out to pick up our campers together” group. Keep things separated.

I was a little disappointed I did not receive physical color samples, but it seems they’ve discontinued this process in favor of the “Digital Welcome Kit” for the sake of maximizing production speed.
Regardless… Stoked that I’m less than two months away! My only regret so far is that I did not put my deposit down sooner to enjoy summer camping!

Just in time for my road trip on 9/27 through the San Juan Mountains for a week, then Rimrocker trail for 3 days, then Canyon Lands for 3-4 days! So stoked!!!

*this build spot 2004 has changed hands at least 6 times which I found interesting.
Majority here are for campers, but here’s a current timeline record for those waiting on a V2 RTT
It should be noted that if you selected local pickup/install for the Platform RTT or Superlite, the available install days are Monday - Wednesday only. This is only based on the calendar invite, so you may have to call if you prefer a different day of the week
You guys still thinking about starting another section for people to coordinate meetups? I think its a great idea!
