Superlite is here!

sorry…the order number for the actual superlite was #6896

Got mine loaded up on our trailer. Nice piece of gear. Heading to rainy Adirondacks now to give it a workout.

Has anyone else had to rearrange the location of the honeycomb panels in the sleeves? I just received my tent and something seems amiss. The material and panels just do not seem to line up correctly. On the top near the sides there is a bunching of material that creates a large area for water to pool on top of the tent. Also with just the Superlite mattress and no additional items the tent doesn’t close properly.

Also anyone else having issues with the velcro straps that hold the poles in place? One side is fine but it appears they sewed the straps too close to the corner so that it is located at the rubber cap on the pole and I cannot get the strap all the way around as the rubber cap has a larger diameter.

i would try to take some pics. also send a email to GFC. just got my replacement after having one delivered damaged. My new Superlite is perfect! good stitching and fabric in great shape as well as loops where there supposed to be. did you try to loosen all the straps and pull the fabric to where it needs to be located.? the top and bottom velcro straps that hold the support poles should go around the poles not the rubber top caps. do you have it mounted or on the ground? i would set it on the ground and use a flashlite and look things over to see if things are where they need to be. they call it a panel in bag technology so i would think its maybe possible the honeycomb panels arent seated properly. im sure they will get you on the right track. some tweeks to mine i wanted to be able to slide it around my basement. i used a 6$ dollar 10ft length of"K" style plastic gutter channel to line the bottom edge. used a heat gun and piece of scrap wood gently make a bend. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Amerimax-Home-Products-5-in-x-10-ft-White-Traditional-Vinyl-Gutter-M0573/100079740. wrapped some rope around it to hold it better.also marked the poles with a silver paint pen so i know from looking if the poles are same length every time. let us know what you find.

Looks great !
Never stop exploring

Looking forward to getting mine — we live at the end of a one-lane road with no room for a semi turn around, so I’ve been a little concerned about when and how delivery will happen. I reached out to GFC for an update and they said there’s about 100 people ahead of me, and to expect delivery in about a month. I’m in the low 8000s and had originally been slated for late May delivery.

I’m figuring as long as the timing works out, I can have the shippers drop it at a neighbor’s place.

This anyone here?

I am 6’5” and have one on order. Concerned about not fitting inside. Did anyone this size try it? If not, anyone with the tent would you mind lay inside on your back, feet up, and move forward until your toes touch the top. Then measure remaining space behind your head. This + your size should give me an idea of “usable length”. Thank you!!

I’m 6’2” and my feet touch when I lay on my back.

I’m 6ft and it’s a bit of a tight fit. I’m not able to take measurements right now but I doubt you will be able to sleep extended with your feet up. Either have to sleep at an angle or bend your knees.

Same. I’m 6’ and my feet touch

im 6ft. and did a test fit. all is good. i would say if your by yourself maybe up op 6 1"-or 2 would be o.k. because you can get a little diagonal.because these RTT-S are so light i hope GFC decides to make a longer wider version down the road.

I’m 6’9" tall and very worried. When you all say you’re such and such height, are you laying with your head against the fabric at the “rear” of the tent?

Yeah. 6’2”, head against the fabric and my toes touch the top. It’s 90” long but the last 16” is basically useless for anyone that has feet.

Even if you’re diagonal there’s no way at 6’9”.

Would like to know more about the fly rods but don’t have insta. Anybody know this person’s email?

Unless you’re new to the forum, You can message them directly by selecting the symbol next to their username then click message.

i messaged the maker last week.the blocks arent available yet. you still need to make rods or purchase the ARB brand rods. most places get crazy money for them or the ones that advertise dont have them in stock. i would check Amazon or ebay but cant imagine the rods being that hard to make.Fly Blocks by Colin Belisle - Exposure

@SlaminEpi29 I messaged the guy and offered him something. Tried talking him off the ledge a little but he really wants the most he can get out of it.
