Finished up modeling, printing, and installing my REDARC RedVision mount.

Additive manufacturing rules. This went through so many iterations when I was designing it and thought “oh it would be cool if it was ‘x’”.

Installed my high performance flat starlink dish.

See the crazy bowing of the old flat mount conversion when it’s 0F outside?

That build is absolutely epic though! I watched his build and thought to myself “damn, if he had no sponsorship help, the truck and complete build has gotta to be hitting 100k”

isn’t that a bit too much weight for the taco?

It HAS to be. By a few thousand pounds at least.

The owner said it does fine and has upgraded brakes, suspension, and a supercharger but I would want at least a 1 ton for that setup

Definitely looks like it haha. I would imagine they did major frame bracing and some sort of custom leaf pack. But loaded up with water and gear I wonder how that axle feels.

oh yeah i don’t trust the frame handling that weight.

That taco would really taco

i hope they did or else that taco would really be a taco!

Did you install a second battery or just using factory truck battery?

I wouldn’t be able to get by with just the starter battery, I’d be running it dead daily with my battery use. I built a 100 amp hour lithium phosphate battery that is mounted in the cabinet in the camper. It’s charged by both the alternator and solar at times (when needed).

Isn’t the SP pretty much exactly like the GFC?

Peace.
