What have you done to your GFC this week

I’ve seen one parked in south Minneapolis near where I take my dog to the vet as well. No idea if they are on this forum.

Installed the headliner:

A pull cord for the tailgate:

And re-did the Quick Fists with BuiltRite spacers:

How long did the headliner install take?

About a half hour, maybe 45 minutes. I had to keep getting things from the garage which didn’t help. You’ll need a pencil to mark the edge of the panels on the roof so you know where to put the horizontal strips of Velcro. The other pain in the ass is that the Velcro sticks to the panels like glue so it’s a shit show as you’re trying to not have it stick to the panels. Two people would make the job WAY easier

And, South Minneapolis owner here.

There’s quite a few of us from the twin cities area!

There are a couple of us up in the Brainerd Lakes Area too.

Where does everyone store their Shittco or Gzila rain fly poles when not in use? Right now I have mine just sitting in the bed but was considering keeping them under the mattress so they don’t clink around when I’m driving and they are accessible when in the tent.

Under the mattress.

Under the mattress to the side

I was considering making something to clip them into my Molle panel in the bed but sometimes the easiest solution is the best.

It just puts them right where and when you need them.

Installed LED lights in the tent for the third time, the headliner covered up the second set I installed because #pisspoorplanning

I also put most of my patches up

I also put Velcro hook on the back of my little battery pack I use for my LED lights when the Jackery is not up there

Borrowed an idea from @MidwestDivision and installed the Iceco PB250 magnetic power bank for the interior lighting kit. Did a quick and dirty run of the wires along the bottom of the bed rails until I decide whether I like it mounted where it is. The magnet on it is pretty strong and feels real solid on the molle panel. I put some hardware under it just to keep it from sliding down with bumps and vibration.

I put the hooks in a tie down spot and have a magnet on the bed. So they just sit on the bed side wall.

That pullcord looks like a gnarly tripping hazard

Hasn’t been so far. It’s usually covered by the rubber mat you can see at the top edge of the picture. I also don’t leave it connected, it hangs from an eyelet in the back passenger corner. But thanks for the heads up

Awesome - Such a clean look!

Just discovered that Starlink mini can work well inside the camper. I’m stoked about this as it greatly simplifies my set up ha ha!

Good job using the prop. Otherwise, be careful as they seem to heat up even more when pulling a signal through something (or maybe my experience was just coincidental).
